The hotel courtesy phone that guests leave the room with, GuestTel allows guests to put away their expensive roaming smartphone, as they explore the city with a fully-equipped courtesy Phablet as a prime mobile device or a backup unit for the family.
Our part of this project was to build an innovative system to allow a guest to download a single GuestTel app and load the content for the specific hotel that they are staying at, complete with offlline storage and live content updates.
We also built a custom CMS to allow hotels to develop app layouts for their specific hotel to push down to both guest phones (via the app) and hotel-owned phones.
Introducing: FeedSpider! Built by us, and supporting Feedly, The Old Reader, InoReader, BazQux Reader, Tiny Tiny RSS, and OwnCloud News
Following the shutdown of Google Reader on July 1, 2013, this is a fork of SemicolonApps' excellent (and unfortunately no longer supported) Google Reader app Feeder to create a client that is compatible with Feedly's API, The Old Reader's beta API, InoReader's API, BazQux Reader's API, Tiny Tiny RSS's API, AOL Reader's API, and OwnCloud News' API. Now, webOS, LuneOS, and Firefox OS users can again sync their RSS Feeds across all of their devices.
Responding to a request from Mozilla for developers to port their apps to Firefox OS, we ported this application from it's webOS Mojo roots to Enyo 2, focusing on Firefox OS compatibility. We later ported the Enyo version back to webOS and LuneOS.
Replacing an existing Java-based POS system, this cafe management system is designed to manage customers and sales for a health club, spa, or similar business. By taking advantage of web technologies such as CouchDB, it can scale to many terminals per cafe, and a large number of cafes, all tied to a central reporting system. Additionally, it includes a POS module; an orders module to allow orders to be transmitted to a kitchen; and a self service module to allow customers to manage aspects of their own accounts.
Co-ordinating with the company, we were responsible for the design and development of this application, tailored to meet their exact specifications.
The flagship product of the opflo suite, O.R. Resource Management System (ORRMS), combines electronic dashboards and whiteboards allowing OR operations to more effectively coordinate and manage large numbers of Operating Rooms, physicians and nurses with maximum efficiency.
We were brought on as additional programmers to assist with the development of this product. We built most of the Perioperative Patient Tracker module; implemented extended settings to the settings module; and were responsible for optimizing the product for speed.
Preware is a homebrew package management application for your webOS or LuneOS device. Users can install any package from any of the open standard package feeds on preware.org (or any other location that hosts an open standard package feed).
We contributed to the Enyo 2 rewrite of Preware, implmenting the settings and feed management screens, as well as working on package management and installation.
LuneOS is a mobile operating system (OS) based on the Linux kernel and currently developed by WebOS ports community. With a user interface based on direct manipulation, LuneOS is designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. The OS uses touch inputs that loosely correspond to real-world actions, like swiping, tapping, pinching, and reverse pinching to manipulate on-screen objects, and a virtual keyboard.
LuneOS is the open source successor for Palm/HP webOS where the user interface is rebuilding from scratch by using the latest technologies available (Qt 5.2 / QML, WebKit 2, etc). All devices can have a LuneOS port if they have a CyanogenMod rom available and that works.
We contributed to the Settings application, building the UI for the Bluetooth Settings screen, and are working on the Photos and Videos app.
